About these terms
These terms and policies apply to every student enrolled in live online music lessons at Infrasonic School of Music, powered by Infrasonic Inc, and to the parents or guardians who enrol them. They bring together our Student Policy and Academic Policies & Operational Guidelines for the 2026–2027 academic year.
By registering, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to follow these policies. Enrolment means acceptance.
Enrolment and registration
Every student must complete the official registration form before classes begin. The details you give must be accurate and kept up to date.
Incomplete or incorrect registration can lead to:
- A delay in the student’s class start
- Incorrect names or details on certificates
- Billing issues
A one-time registration fee of ₹1,000 applies. See Fees and payments.
Classes and plans
All classes are live and online. Depending on the plan chosen, a student receives 4, 8 or 12 classes a month (once, twice or three times a week) on a fixed weekly schedule.
Every class follows a set structure so time is used well:
| Class length | How the time is used |
|---|---|
| 25 minutes | 5 min warm-up and revision, then 20 min lesson and recap |
| 50 minutes | 10 min warm-up, 5 min revision, 30 min lesson, 5 min recap |
| 60 minutes (group, where offered) | 10 min warm-up, 5 min revision, 40 min lesson, 5 min recap |
A fixed schedule is essential for steady progress, so frequent changes and cancellations should be avoided.
Student Sheet and communication
Each student is set up on the Student Sheet, which holds everything about their classes:
- Class links
- Assignments and practice work
- Progress reports
- Class communication
Please watch the Student Sheet onboarding video before the first class.
Everything goes through your Coordinator
Each student has an assigned Coordinator. Contact them, not the teacher, for:
- Cancellations and reschedules
- Slot changes
- Break requests
- Fee queries
Direct communication between parents and teachers is not permitted. Parent–teacher communication happens only through the Student Sheet, the official WhatsApp group or the Coordinator.
Class readiness and conduct
For every class, students should:
- Join 5 minutes before the scheduled time
- Have their instrument, a music notebook and a pen or pencil ready
- Take the class in a quiet, distraction-free space
- Keep their video on when the teacher asks
- Behave respectfully towards teachers and staff
Daily practice is mandatory, for at least the time the teacher sets. Practice work is assigned after every class.
Parents must not discuss fees with teachers or arrange private tuition with an Infrasonic teacher. Breaking these rules may lead to disciplinary action.
Safety and safeguarding
We keep online learning safe and professional for every student:
- All classes take place only on the platform approved by Infrasonic.
- A parent or guardian must be present or reachable throughout the class.
- Teachers keep strict professional boundaries. Private meetings, closed-door teaching and personal arrangements are not allowed.
- Teachers do not share personal phone numbers with students or parents, and do not offer private tuition to Infrasonic students.
- Every session is recorded. Recordings stay available to the student for at least one week as a practice reference.
If you have any concern about safety or conduct, tell your Coordinator or email support@infrasonicinc.com straight away.
Cancellations and rescheduling
Notice
- At least 24 hours’ notice is needed to cancel or reschedule a class.

|---|---|

- Teacher cancellation: a make-up class is provided within the same week or month, depending on mutual availability.
- In case of natural calamities or other disruptions, classes may be rescheduled.
Group sessions
Where a group session is shortened or disrupted, a 10–15 minute make-up is held within the same week, before or after the next class or as a short separate slot. Only the affected batch is eligible, there is no second make-up if a student misses it, and it can’t be carried beyond the week.

Curriculum, assessments and certificates
Students follow one of these curricula, as agreed at registration:
- IN-HOUSE CURRICULUM: Infrasonic’s own module-by-module programme
- GRADE EXAMINATION TRAINING: the Trinity College London or Rockschool (RSL) grade curriculum
- CUSTOMIZED-BASED LEARNING: a customised plan, once approved
All teachers are trained and aligned to these curricula before teaching and don’t use unapproved books or their own syllabus.
- A module assessment is held at the end of each module.
- A certificate is issued when the module is completed successfully.
- Grade exam students receive exam registration support, exam guidance and certification support.
Progress and parent–teacher meetings
A parent–teacher meeting (PTM) is held after every module. When the teacher confirms the student is ready, your Coordinator arranges a time with you. The PTM takes place during the last 10–15 minutes of a class, with the Coordinator present.
Each PTM covers:
- Attendance
- Module or grade progress
- Strengths and areas to improve
- Practice consistency
- Performance readiness
- An action plan for the next module
Events and performances
Performing is part of learning at Infrasonic. Through the year, students can take part in:
- Recitals, held quarterly
- Masterclasses and workshops
- Student–teacher collaborations
- Let’s Konnect artist sessions
- One-to-one recitals
- The Christmas event
Every student should get at least one or two performance opportunities a year, and teachers nominate students for recitals every three months. Dates follow the annual event calendar.
Technology
Students are responsible for having:
- A stable internet connection
- A working device with camera and microphone
- Access to the Student Sheet
Infrasonic is not responsible for classes affected by technical problems on the student’s side.
Referrals
A referral is valid only when the student is new to Infrasonic and the referral is mentioned at the time of enrolment. The referral bonus is credited after the new student has paid for at least one month. The scheme is offered at Infrasonic’s discretion.
Your information
We use the details shared at registration to place the student in the right batch, run classes, issue certificates, handle billing and stay in touch. The student photo is optional and helps the mentor put a face to the name. Class recordings are kept so the student can use them for practice.
Student data is handled in line with our Privacy Policy. For any question about your data, email support@infrasonicinc.com.
Changes to these policies
Infrasonic may update these policies at any time. Updates are published on this page, and students and parents are expected to follow the latest version.
